Safety Tips

Safety First!
We highly encourage you to bring your K9 companion for the day of fun. Here are a few tips to make sure everyone stays safe:

Socializing is fun but only when your pooch is properly protected! We recommend your furry friend be up-to-date to the following vaccines for attendance:

  • Rabies, Kennel Cough, Distemper Combination

If your pup isn’t feeling 100% leave them at home.  Maybe it’s spring time allergies or maybe it could be something more.  It’s better to stay on the side of caution for your own pup’s wellness and the safety of those attending the event.

Leashes required. There will be plenty of room to romp and play, including 140 acres of gorgeous countryside! For the safety of all attendees please keep your pet leashed at all times.  If using a retractable leash, please keep it locked at approximately 4-6 ft. from you so no one gets tangled up!

Dog aggressive dogs are best left at home for this one.  That doesn’t mean we don’t love them, we simply want to keep everyone safe and the stress low for the pups in attendance.

Please be courteous and pick up after your pet! No one likes a shoe full of poo!

Trick or TREATS!!!  Vendors may be handing out treats for your pup.  Keep in mind that lots of treats and lots of excitement aren’t always a good combination.  Don’t let your pooch overindulge, take some treats home so they can saver the Bulldog Day fun for days to come!

Pay attention and pace your pup!  There is going to be lots of fun and excitement for all to enjoy but for those pups that are more used to napping than partying, the day could be a lot for them.  Pay attention to what they are trying to tell you.  Take breaks in the shade, keep them hydrated, retreat to the picnic area for a little R & R, etc…  Our staff will be on site to help with anything that may come up but our abilities will be limited on the farm so please pace your pup.
